The three recognized traditional festivals are: Kim Phong Pagoda Festival - Than Dinh Mountain, Truong Son Commune; Tuong Son Village Opening Festival, Ba Don Ward and Gianh River Boat Racing Festival.

These are traditional festivals imbued with unique cultural identities of each region in Quang Tri province. Along with the 3 heritages that have just been recognized, Quang Tri province now has a total of 18 heritages listed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as national intangible cultural heritages and 2 heritages recognized by UNESCO as representative intangible cultural heritages of humanity.

The registration of national intangible cultural heritages will contribute to strengthening local resources, programs and projects in investing in heritage conservation. At the same time, it is an important cultural resource for Quang Tri province to continue exploiting and promoting heritage values in the sustainable tourism development strategy.
