The National Assembly enters the second working week of the 2nd Session of the 9th Session.

BBK - From June 16 to June 20, 2025, the 15th National Assembly continued the working program of the 2nd Session of the 9th Session with many important contents, focusing on constitutional and legislative work, attracting great attention from voters nationwide.

On the morning of the first working day of the week (June 16), the National Assembly held a plenary session at the Hall to vote and pass many notable laws and resolutions such as: Resolution of the National Assembly on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution, Law on Organization of Local Government, Law on Teachers, Law on Employment, Law on Advertising.

On the same day, the National Assembly discussed in the hall the policy of tuition support and universal preschool education; the draft Law on Participation in the United Nations Peacekeeping Force; discussed in groups the draft Law on Railways (amended) and the investment policy for the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4.

On June 17 and 18, the National Assembly spent most of its time focusing on assessing the socio- economic situation and the state budget in 2024 and the first months of 2025; approving the 2023 budget settlement; discussing the contents of practicing thrift, fighting waste, gender equality and the application of a number of specific mechanisms and policies that have been allowed by the National Assembly to be implemented in a number of localities after restructuring the apparatus and expanding administrative boundaries according to the Party and State's policies. The National Assembly will also vote to pass the Law on Enterprises (amended), the Law on Credit Institutions, the Law on Economical and Efficient Use of Energy, and a number of other laws.

On June 19 and the morning of June 20, the National Assembly conducted a question-and-answer session for National Assembly deputies on two groups of issues in the fields of education and training and finance.

On the afternoon of June 20, the National Assembly discussed the investment policy for a number of important transport projects; the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on the mechanism for handling difficulties and obstacles due to legal regulations. In addition, the National Assembly will separately discuss the arrangement of sources for payment of debts under the Government's responsibility at the Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (SBIC).

Most of the meetings this week will be televised and broadcast live for voters and the people to follow.

The second working week of the 9th Session 2 continued to demonstrate the spirit of innovation, responsibility and efficiency of the National Assembly in perfecting the legal system, promoting socio-economic development and solving practical problems./.
