The National Assembly adjusts the program of the 8th Session.

On the afternoon of November 7, the National Assembly adjusted the agenda of the 8th session with 423/425 delegates voting in favor.

Opening the session, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh said that the National Assembly Standing Committee proposed to submit to the National Assembly for approval a draft resolution of the National Assembly on piloting the implementation of commercial housing projects through agreements on receiving land use rights or having land use rights.

This content is expected to be presented and discussed in groups on the morning of November 13, and discussed in the hall on the morning of November 21, and voted on on November 30.

According to Mr. Dinh, this content has been issued by the National Assembly Standing Committee in a resolution to add to the law and ordinance making program in 2024. The dossier has been carefully prepared and qualified to be submitted to the National Assembly for consideration, in order to promptly remove difficulties for commercial housing projects, ensure fairness in land access for investors, and increase housing supply.

In addition, Mr. Dinh also informed that the National Assembly Standing Committee proposed to adjust the time for submitting the draft resolution of the National Assembly on specific mechanisms and policies to remove difficulties and obstacles for projects and land in the inspection, examination and judgment conclusions in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Khanh Hoa province.

The Standing Committee of the National Assembly respectfully requests the National Assembly to allow a private meeting during the process of considering and approving this draft Resolution because the dossier contains state secrets.

At the same time, add a clip showing about the North-South high-speed railway project to provide more information to serve the National Assembly's discussion on this content.

Mr. Dinh affirmed that some other contents were also adjusted, but did not change the time of the meeting.

The Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic Committee will present a report on the National Assembly's draft Resolution on specific mechanisms and policies to remove difficulties and obstacles for projects and land in the inspection, examination and judgment conclusions in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Khanh Hoa province.
