Continuing the meeting agenda, on the morning of May 17, the Minister of Justice , authorized by the Prime Minister, presented to the National Assembly a draft law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Vietnamese Nationality. The Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Law and Justice will report on the examination of this content.
Then, the Minister of Finance , authorized by the Prime Minister, presented the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Bidding; the Law on Investment under the public-private partnership model; the Law on Customs; the Law on Export Tax and Import Tax; the Law on Investment; the Law on Public Investment; and the Law on Management and Use of Public Assets. The Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic and Financial Committee will present the draft law for review.

This morning, the National Assembly will also discuss in the hall the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Product and Goods Quality. At the end of the discussion session, the Minister of Science and Technology will speak to explain and clarify a number of issues raised by National Assembly deputies.
On the same morning, the National Assembly will vote to pass a Resolution on mechanisms and policies for private economic development; a Resolution on a number of special mechanisms and policies, creating breakthroughs in law making and enforcement.
In the afternoon of the same day, the National Assembly will discuss in groups the following projects: Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Vietnamese Nationality; Law on State Budget (amended); and Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Bidding; Law on Investment under the public-private partnership model; Law on Customs; Law on Export Tax and Import Tax; Law on Investment; Law on Public Investment; Law on Management and Use of Public Assets.
