Of the nearly 3.45 million passengers passing through Da Nang airport in the first 3 months of 2025, there were nearly 1.8 million domestic passengers (reaching more than 23% of the yearly plan, up nearly 11% over the same period last year); international passengers reached 1.65 million, up 3% over the same period in 2025.

In the first quarter of 2025, Da Nang International Airport recorded nearly 21,000 commercial take-offs and landings, reaching nearly 24% of the annual plan, up nearly 9% over the same period last year (of which domestic take-offs and landings were more than 11,000, reaching more than 24% of the annual plan, up 14% over the same period last year).
Mr. Phan Kieu Hung also said that the total revenue of Da Nang International Airport in the first quarter of 2025 reached more than 413 billion VND, equal to 24% of the yearly plan; the total expenditure was more than 110 billion VND, reaching 20% of the yearly plan. Currently, the Airport continues to proactively implement regular cost savings, while implementing Decision 948/QD-TCTCHKVN dated February 28 of the Vietnam Airports Corporation promulgating the price of aviation and non-aviation services in 2025.
It is known that there are currently 16 regular international flights to Da Nang, with an average of 52 international flights landing at Da Nang airport every day. Recently, on April 2, two new routes from Almaty (Kazakhstan) and Yangon (Myanmar) to Da Nang were opened and put into operation.
Accordingly, Crystal Bay Tour and Rustar DMC Vietnam will operate charter flights on the Almaty - Da Nang route with a frequency of 4 flights/week from April to October 2025. This route marks an important milestone in connecting Da Nang tourism with the Kazakhstan market in particular and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in general.
The Yangon – Da Nang direct route is operated by Myanmar Airways International with a frequency of 2 flights/week on Wednesdays and Saturdays. This route also marks a milestone that 8/10 Southeast Asian countries have direct flights to Da Nang, including Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia and Myanmar.
