Gathering the remains of 3 martyrs at Ban Chua

This afternoon, June 19, Lieutenant Colonel Le Truong Giang, Political Commissar of the Martyrs' Remains Collection Team of Division 968, said that the unit had discovered and recovered the remains of three martyrs at Ban Chua, Cam Tuyen Commune, Cam Lo District, Quang Tri Province.

Specifically, through research on the combat history of the units, the process of collecting martyrs' remains in previous years as well as information from veterans and people, from June 16-19, 2025, the Martyrs' Remains Collection Team of Division 968 searched and collected 3 martyrs' remains in the cajuput forest area in Ban Chua.

The remains were found at a depth of about 1.2m, 2-4m apart, along with some relics such as: rotten personal wallets, rubber sandals, buttons, belt buckles,...

Currently, the martyrs' remains are being brought to the Ban Chua village community learning center for worship.

Search operations are continuing in the area.
