On the morning of August 27, 2025, the Provincial Steering Committee for the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo held its first meeting to evaluate the results achieved in the past time, point out the limitations and difficulties, and at the same time agree on the directions and key tasks in the coming period. In recent times, the implementation of Resolution 57-NQ/TW has received attention and drastic direction from the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial Steering Committee, gradually achieving many important results. Digital infrastructure and information technology applications have been focused on investment, mobile networks and fixed Internet have covered 100% of hamlets and neighborhoods, including rural and border areas. Digital platforms and shared digital data have been put into operation, effectively serving management and operation. The rate of people with electronic identification accounts (VNeID) reached 83.51%, far exceeding the set target, contributing to strongly promoting the digital transformation process in life.

The movement “Digital Literacy for All” was launched and spread widely, many training courses and digital skills training were organized for cadres, civil servants, public employees as well as all classes of people. Awareness and technological skills of cadres, party members and people have gradually improved significantly. The digital economy has developed positively; many science and technology enterprises, innovative startups have been established, technology application models in smart agricultural production, e-commerce, online tourism, and cashless payments have been deployed, bringing practical results.

In addition to the achieved results, the implementation of the Resolution still has limitations: The concretization of some contents is still slow, the propaganda work is not really extensive; some important indicators have not met the requirements; the information technology infrastructure at the commune level is still lacking in synchronization; the digital transformation human resources are still weak; the connection between institutes, schools and enterprises in scientific research is not strong.

At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing and giving opinions on the results achieved, difficulties, shortcomings and limitations in the process of implementing the Resolution; thereby proposing solutions to overcome them in the coming time; at the same time, delegates also contributed comments and analyzed the feasibility of some indicators of the draft Project on implementing breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in the period 2025 - 2030.

Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Quyet requested the Provincial People's Committee to urgently complete the Breakthrough Project on Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation for the 2025-2030 period, and submit it to the Provincial People's Council in September 2025; at the same time, focus on overcoming shortcomings in infrastructure and digital services, especially at the commune level; promote the development of digital human resources, taking the criteria of mastering digital platforms and applications as the basis for annual staff evaluation.

The Provincial Party Secretary also requested departments, branches and localities to coordinate closely, proactively remove difficulties, focus on areas with strengths and potential to create clear changes in the shortest time. Along with that, it is necessary to promote propaganda and spread the movement "Digital Education for the People", gradually forming a digital culture in society; at the same time, promote the supervisory and critical role of the Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations, and mobilize people to actively participate in digital transformation.
