On August 24th, the community project "Eating Home - Nourishing Wellness from the Roots" was officially launched in Hanoi , aiming to spread the mindset of starting with eating right to live healthily, gradually nurturing physical and mental health through each home-cooked meal.
Chef Hai Anh, a nutritional chef and traditional medicine practitioner with over 20 years of experience in the culinary field and community education on natural nutrition, and the founder of the project, says that in modern life, many people have forgotten the value of a home-cooked meal filled with love and connection. The "Come Home for a Meal" project was initiated with the desire to rekindle the love of home cooking and heal through simple things.
During the project launch seminar, Ms. Hai Anh shared her journey of facing illness, which forced her to return to her small kitchen to balance her energy and take care of her health. From simple, balanced meals with sufficient nutrients, she felt "rejuvenated," not only in terms of health but also in her connection with her mother, her family, and herself.
"I realized that healthy meals are not just about living healthily, but about living responsibly. And a home-cooked meal, however simple, can create a stronger generation," Chef Hai Anh shared.
Master Chef Tuan Hai shared that in modern life, everyone needs a diet that suits their health. Therefore, only home-cooked meals can help each person balance nutrients from rice, main dishes, and soup in a way that is appropriate. Only through family meals can people find dishes with balanced ingredients and incorporate them in a way that is suitable for the health of each family member.

In today's increasingly busy society, many families eat separately, hastily, and lose connection with themselves and their loved ones, leading to an increased risk of illness, metabolic disorders, and emotional imbalance. Therefore, the project conveys messages that serve as a gentle yet profound reminder: "Taking care of your health doesn't start with medicine, but with your daily meals."
At the seminar, experts directly addressed practical issues related to family meals, from young children and the elderly to busy individuals. Beyond inspiring healthy living, the event also contributed to re-establishing faith in Vietnamese meals as a symbol of culture, health, and generational connection.
Through experiential activities such as dialogue and tasting, the program provides practical knowledge and a comprehensive perspective on protecting health right in each family's kitchen.
