To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the song "Quang Binh, My Homeland," singer Thi Phuong, originally from Quang Binh, along with a team of people from Quang Binh, released a music video of the same name as a meaningful gift to her hometown.

The music video "Quang Binh, My Homeland" commemorates the 60th anniversary of the song's creation.

The song "Quang Binh, My Homeland " is considered the "provincial anthem" of Quang Binh - the hometown of Thi Phuong. Over the years, the song has been sung by generations of artists and people of Quang Binh with a deep sense of pride flowing through their veins.

The song has been successfully performed by many artists such as People's Artist Thu Hien, singer Anh Tho, etc. Therefore, it was only when I met director Duong Lan Huong - who is from the same hometown of Le Thuy, Quang Binh - and expressed my desire to collaborate with her to create a musical product as a meaningful gift for my hometown that the story of the song " Quang Binh, My Homeland" was brought up again.

Many cultural and historical landmarks of Quang Binh province appear in the music video.

During his business trip to the capital, at the invitation of Thi Phượng to attend the MV launch, Mr. Đoàn Ngọc Lâm - Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quảng Bình province - shared: “The song ' Quảng Bình, My Homeland' by composer Hoàng Vân is very familiar to the people of Quảng Bình. In a new setting, Thi Phượng's new MV has recreated the atmosphere of production and fighting of the soldiers and people of Quảng Bình in a bygone era...”

“For the past 60 years, 'Quang Binh, My Homeland' has always been a deeply meaningful song for the people of Quang Binh. Singer Thi Phuong and I are both from Le Thuy, Quang Binh – the birthplace of General Vo Nguyen Giap. More than anyone else, we are very proud of our homeland and want to invite audiences and tourists to return to the ancient Kien Giang River to hear the Le Thuy folk songs, to hear the stories of the heroic battles fought by the people of Quang Binh during those years of fighting and working diligently, with the aspiration to protect the land and sky of our homeland, to preserve everything we cherish,” director Duong Lan Huong expressed.

The music video was meticulously produced with the participation of many people from Quang Binh province.

Instead of filming scenic landscapes of Quang Binh like in her previous music videos, with this new product, Thi Phuong acts as a tour guide, taking viewers on a tour of the famous historical sites of her homeland. Thi Phuong hopes to explore and promote the cultural and historical beauty of Quang Binh through the music video.

The female singer shared that, after "Quang Binh, My Homeland ," Thi Phuong plans to complete an album about her homeland and the revolution, featuring duets with singer Viet Danh from the Army Song and Dance Theatre, and will release three songs about Nghe An province by composer Le Xuan Hoa.
