Launching inter-line patrols to ensure traffic order, safety and social order

This afternoon, January 10, the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police organized a launching ceremony to deploy Plan No. 70 dated January 5, 2024 of the Traffic Police Department on organizing inter-line patrols to ensure traffic order, safety, and social order on National Highway 1 during the Lunar New Year and spring festivals in 2024.

The purpose of Plan No. 70 is to seriously and effectively implement the peak plan to ensure traffic order and safety, social order on traffic routes during the Lunar New Year and spring festivals, contributing to minimizing traffic accidents that may occur, serving the people to enjoy Tet and welcome spring safely and happily.

The members of the inspection teams include the following units: Traffic Police Department, Mobile Police Command, Command Department, Party and Political Affairs Department, Ministry of Public Security ; Traffic Police Department, Mobile Police, Quang Tri Provincial Police.

The content of inspection and handling of violations focuses on violations that are the main causes of traffic accidents such as driving with alcohol or drugs in the body; speeding; driving in the wrong lane, going in the wrong direction; avoiding, overtaking, stopping, and parking in violation of regulations; carrying oversized or overloaded goods, vehicles with extended cargo beds; carrying more people than prescribed; not obeying traffic lights; not having a driver's license or an invalid driver's license; vehicles that have expired or are past inspection... Focus on inspection and handling of passenger transport vehicles, cargo vehicles, and motorbikes.

The area for organizing inter-route patrols and controls is National Highway 1 through the province, National Highway 9, and the Eastern branch of Ho Chi Minh Road. The patrols and controls will start from 0:00 on January 11, 2023 and will be carried out even during the Lunar New Year holidays.
