In the match against Luton Town, Hojlund suffered an injury and had to leave the field in the 79th minute. Speaking about the 2003-born striker's condition, coach Ten Hag shared: "I can't say much about Hojlund's injury yet. He needs to go for a check-up to know the extent of his condition. Hojlund is very confident. I hope he will score more goals."

Following their victory against Luton Town, Man Utd climbed to sixth place in the league table with 21 points from 12 matches. Meanwhile, Luton Town remains in the relegation zone with only six points.
