According to Mr. Nguyen Quang - Vice President of Vietnam Hotel Association, with the current trend of artificial intelligence, hotel managers must have both good expertise and strategic vision to lead digital transformation.

The application of artificial intelligence requires large resources, but is an inevitable trend in modern hotel management and operations.

Ms. Nguyen Thanh Binh - representative of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism - also said that digital transformation in accommodation is not only an inevitable trend, but also a mandatory requirement in the context of fierce competition.

"Applying technology and artificial intelligence to hotel operations and management is an inevitable trend to enhance customer experience; create product differentiation, optimize performance, and increase business efficiency for tourist accommodation establishments," said Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai An, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City.

At the workshop, representatives of major hotels across the country and experts shared practical and effective experiences in applying technology investment in accommodation and services.

Hotel technology providers also introduced many breakthrough solutions and advanced products that contribute to improving operational efficiency and customer experience in the accommodation sector.

The parties also agreed that AI will not replace humans, but rather be a tool to help humans maximize their capabilities. Housekeeping managers need to have a sharp technological mindset and the ability to lead a team, laying a solid foundation for the Vietnamese hotel industry in the new context.
