Entering 2026, the performance activities of the Bac Ninh Cheo Theater became vibrant right from the beginning of January. From January 1st until now, the unit has continuously organized and participated in free art programs throughout the province, focusing on the Lunar New Year (Year of the Horse) and the spring festival season.

The highlight of the series of activities is two elaborately staged programs: "Returning to the Land of Fond Memories" and "Song of Peace," which are designed with appropriate duration and structure, mobilizing a large number of artists and actors from the Theater to participate, serving major cultural, political , and festival events organized by various levels, sectors, and localities. According to the plan, this program will run throughout the first three months of 2026.

People's Artist Ta Quang Lam, Director of the Bac Ninh Cheo Theater, said, "'Returning to the Land of Fond Memories' is a harmonious combination of distinctive traditional folk art forms and music such as Quan Ho, Cheo, Ca Tru, Hat Then, and Dan Tinh. The program structure is built according to an emotional flow, creating a rich and distinctive viewing space, helping the audience clearly feel the depth of the Kinh Bac region's culture. Meanwhile, 'Song of Peace' focuses on the musical and dance aspect with many works by renowned and young composers. The arrangements and orchestrations are meticulously invested in, creating a fresh feel while still maintaining the main spirit. The content praises the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, and the homeland in the process of renewal and development."

Besides general programs, during the spring season, especially at traditional festivals, the public who love Cheo (traditional Vietnamese opera) can also enjoy many outstanding performances free of charge, such as "Heaven's Mandate," "Memories of the Thuong River," and "The Catfish Crushing the Carp"... These are works that have made a mark on the theatrical life in recent times. According to the leaders of the Bac Ninh Cheo Theater, in January of the Year of the Horse 2026, the theater's schedule was almost fully booked every day. The performances attracted a large audience who came to watch and cheer, creating a lively atmosphere...
