According to Kronen Zeitung, Ronaldo arrived at Salzburg airport on July 26th by private jet with the team and stayed at the Gut Brandlhof hotel in Saalfelden. However, the crowd of fans was so large, with many even knocking on his room door to ask for autographs or selfies, that the 40-year-old star felt uncomfortable. Ronaldo threatened to call the police to handle the situation.

Fans caused chaos around the hotel. Some young men tried to get inside, even reaching the lobby and common areas, putting pressure on both security and reception staff. Faced with the situation getting out of control, Ronaldo bluntly threatened: "I will call the police."
Despite his initial stern demeanor, Ronaldo later appeared in the lobby and took the time to sign autographs for the patiently waiting fans. Some fans were moved to tears upon receiving autographs from their idol.
The hotel management later stated that, although Al Nassr only occupied about one-third of the 200 rooms, the public areas remained open to many guests who had booked rooms in an attempt to get close to Ronaldo. Hotel owner Alexander Strobl asserted, "Just because you're staying in the same hotel as Ronaldo doesn't give you the right to ask for photos or autographs." The hotel also admitted that security did not react promptly when the incident began.
The 40-year-old superstar's security detail consists of 16 people, but they still couldn't completely control the crowd. Alexander Strobl suggested that if the team returns next year, the hotel will have to implement stricter security measures.
