Recently, the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province, Le Quang Hung, signed a decision to sell off 11 official vehicles belonging to units under the Department of Agriculture and Environment because they had reached the end of their service life or had exceeded the prescribed mileage limit.
Accordingly, this lot of assets includes many vehicles that are decades old and have also been put on the list for liquidation. Notably, there is a UAZ vehicle belonging to the Lang Chanh Protective Forest Management Board, put into use since 1985, priced at 90 million VND.

In addition, there are many models that were once popular in state agencies, such as the Mitsubishi Pajero of the Thanh Hoa Quality, Processing and Market Development Sub-Department, used since 1999, priced at over 559 million VND; and the Mitsubishi Pajero of the Thanh Hoa Center for Environmental Monitoring and Agricultural Product Quality Certification, used since 2001, priced at over 635 million VND.
Some pickup trucks used for forestry work are also on the list for liquidation, such as the Toyota Hilux, put into use in 2003 with a price of nearly 889 million VND, and the Isuzu Dmax, used since 2011, priced at over 934 million VND.
The liquidated assets also include Mitsubishi Jolie, Ford Ranger, Ford Laser vehicles, and Isuzu trucks that were used between 2002 and 2009.
The People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province has assigned the Department of Finance to coordinate with relevant units to guide the implementation of the liquidation of public assets in accordance with legal regulations, and to manage and account for the proceeds obtained after liquidation.
