
Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh; Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong and other delegates attended the Tam Coc - Trang An Golden Festival.
Attending the opening ceremony were, on behalf of the central leadership: Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh; and Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong.
Representing Ninh Binh province were: Mr. Tran Huy Tuan, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee; representatives from the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front; representatives from various departments, agencies, and communes/wards in the province; along with thousands of tourists from all over and local people attending the event.

The Tam Coc - Trang An Golden Festival 2026 is one of the special activities of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2026. This year, the festival is vibrant with colors and features a dragon procession on the Ngo Dong River from Tam Coc boat dock to the Than Nong Temple.

At the festival, visitors can admire the rice fields along the Ngo Dong River – considered one of the most beautiful rice fields in Vietnam. In addition, visitors can experience unique cultural activities such as Quan Ho folk singing, Then singing, Xam singing, playing the bầu instrument, and many singing and dancing performances by the Muong and Thai ethnic groups throughout the festival.

Alongside this is a grand procession of agricultural products, produce, and medicinal plants characteristic of 34 provinces and cities nationwide, themed "Paying Tribute to the God of Agriculture," who has helped bring favorable weather, bountiful harvests, and prosperity and happiness to the people. This is one of the most distinctive and largest-scale activities of the Tam Coc - Trang An Golden Festival 2026.

Many unique products and agricultural produce from 34 provinces and cities are present at the Tam Coc - Trang An Golden Festival.
At the festival, visitors can also witness the people of Tam Coc directly harvesting their crops in Vietnam's most beautiful rice fields. The large, round, and plump rice grains fill the farmers with joy, symbolizing a year of favorable weather and a bountiful harvest.

At the Temple of the God of Agriculture, delegates and thousands of locals and tourists offered to the God of Agriculture all the finest gifts of nature, from rice grains and fruits to thousands of medicinal plants used to cure diseases and save lives. This was done to express gratitude to their ancestors, to honor their forefathers, and to strengthen the bonds between different regions of the country, demonstrating national unity.
