Russell Crowe is always willing to do dangerous stunts when filming. A "little accident" on the set of Robin Hood in 2010 later became a big deal.

Hollywood star Russell Crowe
Russell Crowe, who stars in action thriller Land of Bad, said he didn't realise the danger of the situation until he jumped.
“With hundreds of things around: arrows flying, pots of fire burning the castle that couldn’t be put away, I thought, ‘This is going to hurt,’” he recalled.
As he landed, the actor felt his heel hit the uneven ground first. "It was like an electric shock going through my body. We were shooting a big movie, so I had to endure the pain. The last month on set was difficult, even walking was a challenge for me," Crowe said.
The actor "never talked about the injury to the producers, never took a break, just kept working," he added.

Crowe immediately thought about dancing himself on the set of Robin Hood . "Obviously I finished that movie with two broken legs. All for the sake of art. No casts, no splints, no painkillers, just kept working and over time it healed itself," the actor said.
After filming Robin Hood directed by Ridley Scott in 2009, Russell Crowe took a year off and did not work until signing on for Man of Steel in 2013.
