The festival is not only a cultural event, but more importantly, it is an opportunity for cultural figures, artisans, performers, and amateur athletes from various ethnic groups to interact, exchange experiences, showcase their cultural beauty, and spread pride and a sense of responsibility in preserving and promoting traditional cultural values in the era of national integration and development. From there, the cultural achievements built over many generations will be continued, nurtured, and become even deeper and richer.
This also serves as proof of the spirit of great unity, indomitable will, and aspiration for progress of the people, creating a solid foundation for the people of all ethnic groups, together with the whole country, to strive even harder in the new era - the era of Vietnam's rise.
Vice Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee, Hoang Nam, emphasized that the festival demonstrates the Party and State's concern for preserving and promoting the cultural values of ethnic minorities in the context of integration and development. This is also an opportunity for the province to promote and introduce the cultural tourism products of Quang Tri to friends and tourists, linking the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage values with sustainable tourism development.
With the theme "Colors Converge," the program aims to honor the traditional cultural values of the ethnic communities of Vietnam across the country; where people have actively contributed their intellect and time to preserving and promoting the cultural identity of ethnic groups within the unified and diverse Vietnamese culture.
People from all over the country have gathered in beloved Quang Tri – a land that suffered much pain and loss during the war – to reaffirm the position and contributions of the ethnic minority communities who have stood side by side within the community of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups; protecting, preserving, fighting tenaciously, and working together to rebuild the land bequeathed by their ancestors.
The program introduced and promoted the traditional cultural values and historical relics of the country and Quang Tri province to friends both domestically and internationally. Through this, it educated the younger generation to follow in the footsteps of their ancestors, working together to build, preserve, and protect the sacred heritage of the nation.
