Quang Nam achieved high results at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture Festival

The 2024 Vietnam Ethnic Culture Festival in Quang Tri province closed on the evening of December 16; the Quang Nam delegation achieved high results and was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The 2024 Vietnamese Ethnic Culture Festival is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Quang Tri province with the participation of many provinces and cities across the country.

Quang Nam delegation participated with nearly 120 artisans, actors, athletes and competed in all contents of the festival including culture and arts; sports , folk games of ethnic minorities and mountainous areas; and tourism activities.

After 4 days of excitement and rich regional cultural identity, last night, December 16, the Organizing Committee of the festival closed and awarded prizes. In the fields of culture and arts, folk games, tourism activities, all the participation of the Co ethnic traditional art team of Bac Tra My district, along with the activities of introducing and displaying traditional culture, cuisine, and demonstrating community tourism skills of the Quang Nam delegation all won prizes with 3 A prizes, 3 B prizes and 3 C prizes.

In the sports events, Quang Nam delegation also won 4 gold medals, 7 silver medals, 14 bronze medals and ranked second in this event among 16 provinces and cities participating in the festival.

The group of artisans, actors and athletes from ethnic minorities in Quang Nam was one of the units with the highest achievements at the festival and was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
