Composer Dinh Tram Ca, author of the song "Song Que" (Homeland River) which made singer Phi Nhung famous, passed away this morning, December 1st, after a period of illness.

At noon on December 1st, the family of musician Đynh Trầm Ca confirmed to Tuổi Trẻ Online the sad news that he had passed away at 9:58 AM on December 1st.

For several days prior, many artists and writers in Quang Nam - Da Nang, upon hearing the news that musician Dinh Tram Ca had fallen into a deep coma, had offered their condolences to his family. His passing is a great loss to his family, friends, and music lovers both domestically and internationally.

Composer Dinh Tram Ca is one of the familiar faces in the Vietnamese music scene. He has left behind many songs that have touched people's hearts, including famous compositions such as "Homeland River," "Lullaby of Old Love ," and many other emotionally rich works imbued with love for his homeland and the human condition.

Composer Dinh Tram Ca, originally from Vinh Dien, Dien Ban Ward, Da Nang, passed away this morning, December 1st, at the age of 83, despite the dedicated care and treatment from his family and medical team. His family announced that the wake will begin this evening, and the funeral will be held on December 4th at the family cemetery in Dien Ban Dong Ward, Da Nang City.
