Da Nang: The official ceremony will be held on May 31, 2026.
To celebrate the Buddha's Birthday (Buddhist calendar 2570 - Gregorian calendar 2026), the Vietnam Buddhist Association of Da Nang City organized numerous cultural, spiritual, and social welfare activities in the area, attracting a large number of monks, nuns, Buddhists, and local people.
According to the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Association of Da Nang City, activities took place at 18 locations across wards and communes with various contents such as: setting up ceremonial platforms, decorating for the birthday celebration, lighting 7 lotus flowers on the Han River and Hoai River (Hoi An), organizing lectures, Buddhist cultural and artistic performances, exhibitions, free medical examinations and treatment, environmental sanitation, and social welfare programs aimed at the community.
