Although there's only one harvest a year, the rice season in the highlands of the northern provinces always holds a special attraction for tourists. Tu Le ( Yen Bai ), Bat Xat (Lao Cai)... are always "must-visit" destinations with their lush green terraced rice fields that captivate the hearts of visitors.
All these terraced rice fields will be covered in a golden hue, signaling a bountiful rice harvest for the people of the mountainous region. This is also the time when adventurous young people embark on trips, traveling hundreds of kilometers to the Northwest region to witness firsthand the "golden waves" cascading down from the mountaintops.
Waves of ripening rice stretch down to the vast fields at the foot of the mountains.
The golden rice fields on the terraced slopes attract not only art enthusiasts but also many tourists from all over the world who eagerly await the sight of the vibrant yellow color in the sunlight and mist.
