On the morning of May 30th, along with nearly 125,000 Hanoi students entering the first day of the public high school entrance exam, the blue uniforms of volunteers were also seen in large numbers at many exam sites across Hanoi.
From directing traffic and guiding parents to providing drinking water and boosting the morale of candidates, the "Exam Support Teams" have become a familiar sight during this year's exam season.

At many examination sites in Giang Vo, Ba Dinh, Ngoc Ha, and Tuong Mai wards, youth union members and young people were present from very early on to coordinate with functional forces to maintain order in the examination area.
Under the early summer sun, volunteers continuously guided parents, reminded candidates to check their documents, and provided water and other necessary supplies.
At the exam site at Tan Mai Secondary School (Tuong Mai ward), Trinh Trong Tan, a student from Hanoi Open University, said this was his first year participating in the "Exam Support Program".
The team's main responsibilities include supporting parents, guiding candidates, and being ready to assist in case of emergencies such as candidates forgetting their school supplies or needing urgent help.
According to Tan, volunteers were always on hand to encourage candidates, distribute drinking water, provide umbrellas for parents, and guide candidates to the correct examination rooms.
"We wanted to contribute a small part to help students feel more relaxed when entering the exam room," Tan shared.
In Giang Vo ward, volunteer youth teams are stationed at school gates, parking areas, and waiting points for parents to reduce congestion and ensure traffic safety during peak hours.

According to Comrade Vu Tung Duong, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Giang Vo Ward, the Ward's Youth Union has deployed its members and young people to coordinate with functional forces to manage traffic flow and ensure smooth traffic on the roads around the examination site.
According to Mr. Duong, the volunteer force is always ready to support candidates through the "Blue Shirts Carrying Pink Dreams" team, helping to take candidates to the correct examination locations, distributing water and snacks to ensure their health and spirits throughout the exam.
In Ngoc Ha ward, Dang Viet Trinh, Secretary of the Ward Youth Union, said that volunteer youth teams have been deployed at many examination sites to provide support.
Youth union members are always ready to accompany candidates throughout the exam period, hoping to contribute to creating a safe and smooth exam season and reduce pressure on parents and students.
At many examination sites, the sight of volunteers rushing under the sun to assist candidates who had forgotten their documents or school supplies, helping students with health problems into the examination area, or carefully reminding each student to check their registration number left many positive impressions.
Many parents said they felt more at ease knowing that there were always young volunteers on duty to provide support outside the examination centers.
