Samsung Thai Nguyen launches health care program for female employees

On March 25, Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen Company (SEVT) launched a comprehensive reproductive health care program for female employees - Health Project 2025.

Attending the launching ceremony were representatives of the Australian Embassy in Vietnam and representatives of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Federation of Labor.

The Health Project for the 2022-2025 period is being implemented with joint funding from the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, MSI Reproductive Choices Vietnam and Dr. Marie Clinic System.

According to statistics, through this program, each year more than 1,100 female employees of SEVT Company are examined, consulted and provided with free reproductive health services. Participating in the program, SEVT employees receive a free reproductive health examination package worth over 1 million VND/person including: Examination, reproductive health and family planning consultation and many useful gifts. At the same time, they can register to use other reproductive health related services at preferential prices.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Kim Iee Soo, General Director of SEVT, emphasized: Samsung not only invests in technology but also focuses on human development. Through internal analysis, we found that comprehensive health care programs have helped increase employee engagement and significantly reduce the rate of resignation compared to the previous year. In this way, Samsung develops in parallel with the national orientation, creating a sustainable business model in the era of the Vietnamese nation's rise.
