ISOCELL GNJ
The ISOCELL GNJ is a 50MP sensor with a 1µm pixel size and a large 1/1.57-inch size. Equipped with dual-pixel autofocus, the GNJ delivers high-speed and accurate focusing even in low light, backlight, and contrast conditions. The sensor also uses an improved anti-reflective layer and a high-refractive index microlens, which improves light collection quality and reduces unwanted reflections. This prevents dark areas from being overexposed, resulting in more natural images.

Not only that, ISOCELL GNJ is also energy efficient. This sensor consumes 29% less power in preview mode and 34% less when recording 4K 60fps video , helping to extend the battery life of the device.
ISOCELL HP9
The ISOCELL HP9 is Samsung's latest 200MP camera sensor, measuring 1/1.4 inches and featuring 0.56µm pixels. Samsung claims the HP9 offers 12% higher light sensitivity and 10% improved autofocus contrast performance compared to its predecessor, the ISOCELL HP3.

The sensor uses high-refractive index microlenses with new materials to collect light more efficiently and direct it to the RGB color filter more accurately. This results in accurate color reproduction, 10% faster autofocus, and a 12% improvement in light sensitivity. Thanks to 4x4 pixel binning, the ISOCELL HP9 can perform well even in low light conditions. The sensor also offers 2x and 4x in-sensor zoom modes, and is capable of up to 12x optical zoom when combined with a 3x optical zoom lens.
ISOCELL JN5
Samsung also introduced a second 50MP camera sensor, the ISOCELL JN5, which measures 1/2.76 inches and is expected to be used in ultra-wide cameras. The sensor uses Samsung's Dual Vertical Transfer Gate (Dual VTG) technology to increase charge transfer within pixels, helping to reduce noise in low light conditions. The JN5's Super Quad Phase Detection (Super QPD) feature improves autofocus.
ISOCELL JN5 Sensor
To enhance dynamic range and HDR performance, the ISOCELL JN5 uses Dual Slope Gain (DSG). This technology amplifies analog light into two signals, then converts them into digital information and combines them to expand the color range. The sensor's hardware correction algorithm also improves shooting speed and real-time zoom preview. With its compact size, the ISOCELL JN5 can be used as a front, telephoto or ultrawide camera.
