DJ Ngan 98's weight loss product was requested to be sampled for testing for banned substances.

According to the Food Safety Department, recently, some weight loss products advertised by DJ Ngan 98 including: X1000, weight loss pills X3 (Super Detox X3), X7 Plus... have received the attention of many people because of suspicion of containing banned substances.

The Food Safety Department has urgently checked and reviewed the Department's online public service software. The results show that only one of the above products has received a declaration at the Food Safety Department, which is the health protection food X7 Plus.

Certificate of registration of product declaration X7 Plus No. 5297/2021/DKSP dated June 14, 2021 announced by ZUBU Trading and Service Company Limited (address: 154 Pham Van Chieu, Ward 9, Go Vap District, HCMC) and is responsible for the product.

The product is manufactured at NANOTESLA High-Tech Pharmaceutical Production Company Limited (address: Dan Phuong Industrial Park, Dan Phuong Commune, Dan Phuong District, Hanoi ).

The Food Safety Department has not yet issued any Certificate of Advertising Content for the products with the above names.

Pursuant to Article 40 of Decree 15/2018/ND-CP detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Food Safety, on May 24, the Department of Food Safety issued an official dispatch requesting the Department of Food Safety of Ho Chi Minh City and the Department of Food Safety and Hygiene of Hanoi to urgently inspect and verify the production of the above products.

The Food Safety Department recommends taking samples for testing to determine whether or not they contain prohibited substances (if any), in order to handle them according to regulations.

Previously, on May 21, authorities in Ho Chi Minh City inspected the company related to weight loss products advertised by DJ Ngan 98.

Specifically, the above mentioned weight loss products have packaging indicating the place of manufacture in Hanoi, and the company name is located on Pham Van Chieu Street, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City. Therefore, the Food Safety Management Team in charge of Go Vap District went to this address to check on the morning of May 21, but did not find the company operating.

DJ Ngan 98 also went to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety to work on the morning of May 23. Here, Vo Thi Ngoc Ngan provided legal documents related to weight loss products (including X1000, X3 (Super Detox X3) and X7 Plus).

Initially, the authorities have recorded information from the female DJ and will continue to conduct verification steps according to regulations.
