The event is part of the Humanistic Journalism Theatre Project - a non-professional theatre project of the Journalism and Communication Faculty Theatre Club, implemented by students of the Journalism and Communication Faculty, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City.
The project has been running for 8 years now, with 10 seasons of performances, creating a passionate and exciting theatrical platform for students.
The "Midway Through Passion" event series consists of two main activities: the "Milestones" Exhibition and the commemorative performance of the same name. The "Milestones" Exhibition, taking place from June 25th to 26th, showcases typical publications, sets, costumes, etc., from the full-length plays that the club has performed. At the exhibition, young people can participate in free interactive activities and learn about theater.
The "Midway Through Passion" performance will feature excerpts from three representative plays of the club: "Leaves Sing Like Rain," "Crying Alone," and "Sadness Throughout the Night." On this occasion, the club will also debut a new short play titled "Climbing to the Peak of Sorrow."
