This morning, the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province in coordination with the Vietnam Singapore Urban and Industrial Park Development Joint Stock Company (VSIP) will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the Bac Thach Ha Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Construction Project.

The ceremony is expected to be attended by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha; leaders and former leaders of central ministries and branches; diplomatic agencies, representatives of the Singaporean Government in Vietnam; diplomatic agencies, international organizations; leaders of some neighboring provinces; representatives of VSIP Group, domestic and foreign investors...

On Ha Tinh side, there were the participation of provincial leaders; former provincial leaders; members of the Provincial Party Committee; the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; representatives of departments, branches, businesses and localities.

The investment project to build and operate infrastructure of Bac Thach Ha Industrial Park was approved in principle for investment according to Decision No. 1003/QD-TTg dated August 29, 2023 of the Prime Minister .

The project is invested by Vietnam Singapore Urban and Industrial Park Development Joint Stock Company (VSIP). The total investment of the project is more than 1,555 billion VND. The land use scale of the project is 190.41 hectares, located in the two communes of Thach Lien and Viet Tien of Thach Ha district.

VSIP Ha Tinh is built to become a green, synchronous, modern industrial park with optimal infrastructure standards including: EVN power station with capacity of 126 MVA, wastewater treatment plant with total capacity of 6,000 m3/day and night, water supply system according to demand, high-speed telecommunication cable network including 2,800 transmission lines, standard internal road system with width of 25.5 to 38.5m, synchronously planned landscape, 24/7 fire prevention and fighting station...

The VSIP project was approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1003/QD-TTg dated August 29, 2023 with an area of 190.41 hectares in two communes of Thach Lien and Viet Tien (Thach Ha).

With a strategic traffic location, convenient connection to most major routes such as National Highway 1A, National Highway 15B and North-South Expressway, VSIP Ha Tinh Industrial Park is expected to be a "magnet" attracting investors operating in the fields of light industry, high-tech industry such as electricity and electronics, semiconductors, precision mechanics, garment, leather shoes, energy, electric vehicle batteries, metals, auto parts, food processing, logistics services, factories for rent... Thereby, contributing to increasing production value, developing industry in depth, associated with the goal of green growth and sustainable development.

Identifying this as a particularly important project, immediately after the project was approved for investment, the Provincial People's Committee directed relevant departments, branches, and sectors, and the People's Committee of Thach Ha district to coordinate with investors to focus on site clearance and complete related legal procedures so that the project can soon start and be implemented.

The project's groundbreaking marks a breakthrough in attracting investment; contributing to increasing budget revenue, economic growth, creating jobs for many local workers, gradually making Ha Tinh one of the development poles of the North Central and Central Coast regions.
