On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Traditional Day, a reporter from the People's Army Newspaper had a conversation with Colonel Lai Viet Trung, Director of the Company, about this issue.

Colonel Lai Viet Trung : Z755 Electronic Information Company Limited is a defense and security enterprise (QPAN). After many mergers, name changes, and changes in management agencies, the Company currently belongs to the Information and Communications Corps. The formation and development process of the Company is closely linked to the development history of the defense industry, the Army's engineering industry, and the Information and Communications Corps with many proud events and achievements. The Company was awarded 5 Military Exploit Medals, 2 Third-class Labor Medals, 1 Third-class Fatherland Protection Medal... and many other noble awards by the Party and State.

Colonel Lai Viet Trung : When the war to protect the Fatherland at the border broke out, the Company promptly repaired thousands of communication equipment of infantry, navy, and armored units; hundreds of radar equipment for units performing international missions in neighboring countries and the mission of protecting the borders, islands, and skies of the Fatherland.

The period 1981-1986 marked a new stage of maturity for the Company. In addition to focusing on the task of repairing and producing national defense, the Company was officially assigned the task of producing economic goods to serve the people, entering economic accounting. In the period 1987-1995, the Company promoted marketing, increased the production of economic products; continued to improve, rationalize production, perfect technological processes, complete and apply many technical topics with high efficiency. From 1996 to 2010, the Company gradually invested in technology with a planned and upgraded factory system; production tools were innovated, technical and professional levels were improved; the repair and production technological process system was supplemented and perfected. The Company's production activities gradually met the requirements of "technology - formality - safety - quality".

July 19, 2010 was an important milestone for the Company when the Ministry of National Defense decided to change the name of the Z755 Electronic Information Factory to Z755 Electronic Information Company Limited, a QPAN enterprise. In recent years, the Company has invested heavily, built new technical infrastructure, and added many modern equipment. Along with innovation and outstanding efforts, the unit has fundamentally and comprehensively changed, improving production and business capacity to meet mission requirements.

Colonel Lai Viet Trung: The Company's outstanding success is that it has mastered the technology to repair many modern information equipment in the military satellite information system (VSAT), military mobile information (Radio trunking), new generation digital switchboards, frequency hopping radios, machines manufactured by Viettel... The Company has successfully improved and modernized many information equipment capable of working durably in harsh environments in border areas and islands; successfully produced synchronized materials and spare parts of campaign-level and tactical information equipment and some high-tech technical materials. Recently, the Company has mastered the technology to design and manufacture ultra-high frequency receivers and transmitters (BUC and LNB) of the military satellite information system, portable mobile VSAT sets, mobile VSAT antenna systems, O/E photoelectric converter concentrators...; thereby improving the timeliness and stability of the military communications system, reducing dependence on foreign countries.

Thoroughly grasping and implementing the resolutions of the Politburo, the Central Military Commission and the Party Committee of the Information Service, the Party Committee of the Company has issued a specialized resolution to lead the implementation of the breakthrough task of developing science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; in which, the orientation is to build the Company into a typical unit in research, application of science, technology, innovation, digital transformation in the production of materials and technical equipment, effectively participating in the defense industrial chain in the field of military communications; being one of the leading enterprises of the QPAN enterprise system in applying digital economic development, promoting digitalization in administration, production, business, and automation application.

Colonel Lai Viet Trung: In addition to the national defense mission, the Company also has many economic products with the brand name Z755, contributing to enriching the market of essential consumer goods serving people's lives, such as: Ion balance machines, food detoxification machines with ozone, straw presses, straw rollers, mechanical and electrostatic paint products, neon ballasts, speakers, amplifiers... The Company always strives to maintain contracts with partners, expand new production and business models; actively cooperate to develop the economy, services, and trade, contributing to creating jobs and increasing income for workers.

The results and achievements over the past 50 years are the premise for the Company to confidently strive to excellently complete all tasks in the following years.
