Gia Lai Province rewards 2 young stars of HAGL
HAGL Club's Fanpage said: " Today, August 1, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan signed a decision to award certificates of merit to two HAGL Club players, goalkeeper Tran Trung Kien and center back Pham Ly Duc, for their outstanding contributions at the 2025 Southeast Asian U.23 Football Championship. Congratulations to the mountain boys!".
Tran Trung Kien and Pham Ly Duc are two members of HAGL Club who play a pivotal role in the Vietnam U.23 team, contributing significantly to the championship of the 2025 Southeast Asian U.23 Championship that just ended in Indonesia.
Thanks to the high performance of these two players and other defenders, the U.23 Vietnam team played extremely solidly, especially in the 1-0 victory over the host U.23 Indonesia to win the third consecutive championship in the tournament.

This convincing performance was recognized when the two players were honored to receive a certificate of merit signed by Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan. It was also added that "King of Youth Tournament" Nguyen Quoc Viet also played for the Vietnam U.23 team but last season was part of Ninh Binh FC.
It is known that Trung Kien has flown to Thailand to join the HAGL Club - the team that just had a 2-2 draw with Prime Bangkok FC, with 2 goals scored by Minh Tam and Thanh Nhan.
Meanwhile, Ly Duc was in Hanoi to join the Hanoi Police Club, the next step in his career after 20 matches for HAGL in the 2024 - 2025 V-League. The reward from the leaders of Gia Lai province will certainly be a great encouragement for these two players to strive to improve in the future.
