After the electricity price adjustment from May 10, how much more will customers pay for electricity each month?

The adjustment level, equivalent to an increase of 4.8% compared to the current average retail electricity price, has been carefully calculated by EVN with the spirit of minimizing the impact on the economy and people's lives, in accordance with the practical situation.

The price increase is objective, it is impossible not to increase electricity prices in the current conditions. In fact, according to legal regulations, electricity prices can be adjusted every 3 months, however, from the price increase in October 2024 until now, it has been more than 6 months since EVN adjusted electricity prices.

The representative of the Vietnam Consumer Protection Association also emphasized that in the context of hot weather and electricity price adjustment, people need to pay attention to using electricity economically and effectively.
