SCTV announces termination of all cooperation activities with MC Bich Hong

This is the move of Saigon Tourist Cable Television Company (SCTV) after the controversy over Ms. Bich Hong's inappropriate statements on social networks, causing outrage among many people.

Ms. Bich Hong's statement is her personal opinion.

SCTV's dispatch clearly states:

"Recently, some media and social networks have reported inappropriate, substandard, and controversial statements by Ms. Bich Hong - who used to work with SCTV4 channel as a program host.

Saigontourist Cable Television Company (SCTV) would like to officially inform as follows:

1. Ms. Bich Hong is not an official employee of SCTV, but only a collaborator participating in some programs in the previous period.

2. Ms. Bich Hong's personal statements on social networks are personal opinions, unrelated to and do not represent the opinions of SCTV.

3. SCTV has terminated all cooperation activities, use of images and broadcasting of programs related to Ms. Bich Hong, since April 19, 2025".

SCTV also emphasized that the company always upholds the spirit of social responsibility, respects the historical - cultural - political values of the country and wishes to spread positive and humane information with the community.

Previously, MC Bich Hong wrote her feelings on social networking site:

"Thank you for the parade. Thanks to that, instead of 45 minutes from District 12 to District 7, it's now an hour and a half and we're still moving little by little on the street. As someone born and raised in Saigon, I'm not happy or excited, but proud. Very annoying!"

This opinion made the online community "angry", reacting strongly because it was not suitable for a TV MC. Currently, Bich Hong's personal page is locked.
