SeABank donates 3 billion VND to support people in flood-affected areas

With the spirit of mutual love and the motto of "For the community", Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank ( SeABank , HOSE: SSB) has donated 3 billion VND to join hands to support localities and people in the Northern provinces affected by storm No. 3 (Yagi).

Storm No. 3 made landfall in the North on September 6-7, 2024 with strong gusts of wind and prolonged storm circulation, causing a lot of damage to property and infrastructure in the provinces/cities: Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Yen Bai , Thai Nguyen... In this situation, the whole country focused on the North to support and protect people in flood-affected areas, joining hands to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

Responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to promptly provide relief and overcome the consequences caused by storm No. 3 (Yagi), SeABank has donated 2 billion VND to join hands to support localities and people in the storm area.

In addition, SeABank employees across the system and SeABank's One Day One Smile Fund also voluntarily donated and supported an additional 1 billion VND to support people, employees and families affected by storms and floods, partly adding strength and joining hands to overcome natural disasters. This is a culture of love and sharing in line with the core value "For the community" that always guides the Bank's operations, while promoting the national spirit and the good tradition of "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves".
