The program was launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society , on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Cuba (1960 - 2025).

This activity carries profound socio -political significance, demonstrating the spirit of international solidarity, gratitude, and responsibility towards the country that has always stood by Vietnam.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Huy Long, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Division, emphasized: “This program is not only material support but also a vivid symbol of the unwavering loyalty and friendship between the two nations. Today's contributions are proof of the special relationship, nurtured through many generations of Vietnamese and Cuban revolutionaries.”

Colonel Nguyen Huy Long, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Division, delivered a speech at the launching ceremony.

The Party Committee and the Division Command request that Party committees, branches, agencies, and units continue to promote propaganda and mobilization efforts to encourage officers, soldiers, and the local population to actively participate in the program, on a voluntary basis, in accordance with actual conditions, ensuring practicality and effectiveness.

At the launching ceremony, officers, professional soldiers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers from various agencies and units within the Division donated, demonstrating a spirit of responsibility, sharing, and compassion. According to the plan, the fundraising campaign will continue until September 30th.
