Colonel Thai Duc Hanh, Deputy Head of Political Affairs of Military Region 4, attended and delivered the opening speech.

During the training, participants studied six key topics, including: Skills and methods of propaganda and combating the schemes and tactics of hostile forces to divide national unity in the new situation; content and measures to prevent and counter the schemes and tactics of hostile forces exploiting ethnic and religious issues to divide national unity; results, experiences, and solutions in propaganda and mobilization of ethnic minorities in border areas to participate in building and protecting national sovereignty and border security by the Border Guard; strengthening the Party's mass mobilization work in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; the impact of new religious and belief phenomena on the economic, cultural, and social life of ethnic minorities in Vietnam; and skills in using digital tools and social networks in propaganda and mobilization of ethnic minorities to combat false and hostile viewpoints in cyberspace.

In his opening remarks, Colonel Thai Duc Hanh, Deputy Head of Political Affairs of Military Region 4, emphasized that in recent years, fulfilling its function as a working force and a productive labor force, the armed forces of Military Region 4 have always proactively coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to propagate and mobilize the people to abide by the Party's guidelines and policies and the laws of the State; to raise vigilance against schemes to divide national unity; and to actively participate in socio -economic development and consolidate the political system in remote areas and strategic locations for national defense and security.

Emphasizing the unique characteristics of the provinces and cities under Military Region 4, which have vast mountainous and border areas with many potential complexities regarding security and order, Colonel Thai Duc Hanh affirmed that the effective implementation of Project 57 is an urgent task, contributing to building and consolidating the great national unity in the new situation.

Colonel Thai Duc Hanh requested the Organizing Committee to effectively fulfill its role, coordinate closely, strictly adhere to the plan, and ensure safety. The team of presenters should closely follow practical situations, update on new tactics of hostile forces, and impart methods and skills for propaganda and mobilization suitable to the specific characteristics of ethnic minority areas. The trainees should uphold their responsibilities, actively participate in discussions, relate to practical situations, and propose innovative models to support the implementation of Project 57 at the grassroots level.
