Over 100 prestigious people in Hong Thai commune received legal aid.

On December 8, the State Legal Aid Center No. 1, Tuyen Quang province coordinated with the People's Committee of Hong Thai commune to organize a pilot training conference on accessing legal aid for over 100 village officials, prestigious people among ethnic minorities and representatives of people in the commune.

At the conference, delegates were provided with legal knowledge on legal aid (LAY) for village officials and prestigious people among ethnic minorities to improve their capacity and ability to inform and explain LAY to people and introduce people eligible for LAY to the State LAY Center when encountering legal problems; acting as a bridge between people and the State LAY Center.

The training course contributes to equipping and improving legal knowledge, increasing access and enjoyment of quality legal aid activities for ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
