At the conference, delegates heard presentations from Ms. Hoa Huu Van, a psychology expert and former Deputy Head of the Family Department, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, on gender equality and the prevention and response to gender-based violence; and Major Bui Hoang Long, an officer from Traffic Police Team No. 5, Hanoi City Police, on the 2024 Law on Road Traffic Safety and Order.

The conference aimed to thoroughly implement the Action Month in a manner consistent with the practical realities and specific characteristics of each agency and unit; to emphasize the role, responsibility, and proactiveness of officers and soldiers in promoting propaganda and education on the meaning and importance of gender equality and the prevention and response to gender-based violence. At the same time, it helped officers and soldiers better understand the role and responsibilities of each military personnel in building a healthy and cohesive working environment; to promote respect and civilized conduct; and to resolutely fight against and prevent acts that violate the law and infringe upon human rights and dignity.

With the theme of the 2024 Law on Road Traffic Safety and Order, the aim is to raise awareness and strengthen the self-discipline of officers and soldiers in complying with the law when participating in traffic; contributing to building a safe and civilized traffic culture; and preventing and reducing traffic violations throughout the unit.
