Instead of attending numerous extra classes, Ky Anh chose the quiet space of the Provincial Library to study. Each day, she spends about 5 hours at the library reviewing her lessons. Ky Anh not only solves sample exam questions but also proactively searches for and researches in-depth materials to broaden her thinking. For subjects related to her future career path, she focuses on delving into the essence of the issues, honing her analytical skills and logical thinking.
Throughout her journey to conquer the exam, the understanding from her family was Kỳ Anh's greatest source of emotional support. "My parents didn't put pressure on me regarding grades; they created the most comfortable environment for me in terms of schedule and daily life, allowing me to proactively manage my study and rest time," Kỳ Anh said. The combination of high self-discipline, a scientific study method, and the support from her family gave Kỳ Anh the confidence to break through and turn her dreams into reality in the exam.
One day in early June, we met Nguyen Tuan Minh, a 12th-grade student from Nguyen Hien High School in Binh Duc Ward, and his group of friends who were diligently racing against time during the final stages of their exams. Aiming to conquer the biotechnology program at the University of Science, Tuan Minh chose the Provincial Library as his ideal study location. He dedicated 8 hours a day to self-study, and then continued reviewing at home. At the library, Minh and his friends supported each other, dissecting difficult exam questions and compiling them to ask their teachers for answers.
Besides allocating study time wisely, Tuan Minh also focuses on his lifestyle, considering "resting his body" as the golden key to maintaining his academic performance. He absolutely avoids staying up all night to study excessively. Instead, he establishes a scientific sleep cycle, ensuring he gets enough sleep so his brain has time to recover and regenerate energy. Tuan Minh and his family increase the intake of nutrient-rich foods in his daily diet, supplementing with green vegetables and fruits, and ensuring he drinks enough water every day to boost his immune system.
Nguyen Hoang Mong Tuyen, a student at Nguyen Binh Khiem High School in An Chau commune, has consistently maintained her excellent academic record for 12 consecutive years. With a strong aptitude for English and an average grade of 8.5 in 12th grade, Tuyen dreams of becoming a preschool teacher. To achieve her goal of entering the preschool education program at An Giang University, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, in addition to striving for high scores in the high school graduation exam, Tuyen is preparing for the mandatory aptitude test, which consists of two parts: singing and storytelling.
Despite her somewhat shy personality, Tuyen is highly self-disciplined and determined in her studies. Along with her regular class schedule, Tuyen also studies at home. Every evening, her study corner is always lit until late at night. Her proactive and persistent efforts in building her knowledge over the years, combined with a serious revision plan during the final stages, have formed a solid foundation for Tuyen to confidently enter the exam room and conquer the doors to university.
