Students find jobs at the 'Give Opportunities - Create the Future' festival

On May 12, Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry - Hue University organized the 2024 job fair with the theme "Giving Opportunities - Creating the Future". This is the 11th consecutive year that the school has organized the job fair, helping students find jobs suitable for their training, while companies and businesses also find human resources suitable for their development strategy.

The 2024 job fair program at the University of Agriculture and Forestry - Hue University attracted a large number of students to participate.

This year’s job fair at the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University attracted the participation of more than 30 businesses with 1,600 recruitment targets in all training majors of the school. The organizing committee set up 19 booths for businesses and arranged many meeting rooms for employers to conduct direct interviews.

"This is the fourth time I have participated in the job fair. I find this a useful activity. Final year students like me will have the opportunity to interview for a job right away, and first year students can participate to better understand the recruitment positions of businesses, gain experience and knowledge. I was also hired by a business right after graduating", Le Thi Tu Uyen (final year student majoring in veterinary medicine, University of Agriculture and Forestry - Hue University) shared.

Many students participate in direct interviews with businesses and find jobs right after graduation.

Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thanh Duc, Rector of the University of Agriculture and Forestry - Hue University, said that from this series of job fairs, the school listened to comments, suggestions, and criticisms from employers about the quality of human resources. From there, the content of training programs was adjusted, improving and enhancing the quality of students in terms of knowledge, skills, and attitudes to meet the increasing demand for human resources in the labor market.

"Today's job fair is a great opportunity for you to demonstrate your abilities to employers, learn about the labor market based on your interests, career passion and personal abilities, and find a suitable job to establish your career in the future. Be confident, calm, demonstrate your passion for your career and abilities to employers, and you will succeed," Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thanh Duc sent a message to students at the fair.
