If he wins, he will become the first person to achieve this milestone since the legendary Roger Federer did so in 2017.

Earlier, the 24-year-old lifted the Indian Wells 2026 trophy in mid-March. Sinner's opponent in the Miami Open 2026 final, which will take place in the early hours of March 30th, is the 21st seed Jiri Lehecka.

To reach the final, Sinner displayed a devastating performance, defeating world number 3 Alexander Zverev 2-0 (6-3, 7-6) in the semi-final. This victory not only propelled Sinner into the final but also set an unprecedented record of winning 32 consecutive sets at ATP Masters 1000 tournaments.

In his match against Zverev, Sinner displayed complete dominance. The first set was quick. Although Zverev fought back strongly in the second set amidst the enthusiastic cheers of the crowd, Sinner's composure came to the fore at the right moment.

The turning point came when the score was 4-4 in the first set, Zverev made a mistake and hit the ball into the net. Sinner immediately seized the opportunity, hitting two powerful aces to take the lead and close out the set with a 7-4 score.

Statistics show that Sinner's serving weapon is reaching a formidable level of perfection. Against the experienced Zverev, Sinner hit 15 aces, achieved a 74% first-serve success rate, and won 79% of the points from those serves. Notably, this was Sinner's seventh consecutive victory against the German player.

Returning to the Miami Open after being sidelined for the 2025 tournament due to a three-month suspension, Sinner is eager to reclaim his status as the 2024 champion. He emotionally shared: "My main goal in coming here was to try and play my best. Being in the final again means a lot. This has been an incredible run of matches and I'm incredibly happy."

On the other side of the court, Jiri Lehecka is also experiencing the best days of his career. The 24-year-old Czech player easily defeated the 28th seed Arthur Fils with a 2-0 (6-2, 6-2) score in the semi-finals.

Despite Lehecka's current excellent form, Sinner is still considered the clear favorite by experts. Their head-to-head record heavily favors the Italian player, with three consecutive wins. Sinner's most recent victory was at the 2025 French Open (Roland Garros).

With a streak of 11 consecutive wins in Miami (starting in 2024), a strong mentality, and an all-around playing style, Jannik Sinner is ready to complete a "double" and continue to set another memorable milestone in his career.
