Department of Education and Training held a conference to summarize the 2024 - 2025 school year and deploy tasks for the 2025 - 2026 school year.

On the afternoon of August 11, 2025, the Department of Education and Training of Hai Phong City held a conference to summarize the 2024-2025 school year and deploy tasks for the 2025-2026 school year in a combination of direct and online formats. The conference was attended by Comrade Nguyen Minh Hung - Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, along with representatives of leaders and experts from the City People's Committee Office; representatives of leaders from the Department of Home Affairs, Department of Finance, Department of Justice, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Health. On the side of the Department of Education and Training, there were Comrade Luong Van Viet - Member of the City Party Committee, Director of the Department, Deputy Directors of the Department and all officers, experts and employees of the Department. The conference connected the central bridge at the Department of Education and Training with 114 bridge points in communes, wards and special zones. At the grassroots connection points, there were representatives of the People's Committee, leaders and experts of the Department of Culture - Society, and principals of kindergartens and general schools in the area.

At the Conference, Mr. Uong Minh Long - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training presented a report summarizing the tasks of the school year and the key tasks and directions for the school year 2025-2026. The report not only comprehensively mentioned all aspects of Hai Phong education in the past school year but also deeply and thoroughly analyzed the advantages and difficulties, opportunities and challenges, achievements and limitations. Thereby, demonstrating the determination of the Hai Phong education sector in promoting the good results achieved , maintaining its position in the group of leading localities nationwide in education and training, while mobilizing all resources, taking advantage of all advantages to overcome difficulties, continuing to develop strongly and sustainably.  

Regarding the direction and tasks of the 2025-2026 school year, this is the first school year after the merger of administrative boundaries, the education sector has expanded in space, welcoming new development opportunities but also posing many important tasks that require determination and continuous efforts. The Department of Education and Training has identified 10 main groups of tasks and solutions. In particular, the most prominent are: strengthening leadership and social consensus on educational innovation; reviewing, arranging and reasonably developing the network of schools and classes; continuing to innovate and improve comprehensive education; building a team of teachers and managers to meet the requirements of innovation; ensuring material facilities and financial resources for educational development;...

In addition to the central report, the Conference also had presentations from professional departments, the Department of Education and Training, localities and educational institutions. The issues discussed by the Department of Education and Training were : the current situation and solutions to ensure facilities and teaching equipment for the 2018 General Education Program ; innovation in organizing exams for the 2025-2026 school year ; education quality assessment and recognition of national standard schools ; linkage between schools and enterprises in career guidance and streaming . Representing educational institutions in the city, Minh Duc Kindergarten (Tu Ky), Dinh Tien Hoang Primary School and Duong An High School contributed presentations on solutions to improve the quality of education management and teaching. In addition, representatives of the People's Committee of Tan Ky commune discussed the difficulties and obstacles in implementing two-level local government at the commune level in the field of education and training , and proposed a number of solutions .

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Minh Hung - Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee acknowledged and commended the achievements of the education sector. and training the city has achieved in the 2024-2025 school year and highly appreciated the industry's determination and effectiveness in carrying out tasks immediately after the merger. In the coming time, the education sector needs to continue to proactively advise on the effective implementation of new policies in the context of a two-level local government organization model; improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management and education system governance. In addition to the sector's regular tasks, it is necessary to focus on implementing key tasks : advising on building a socialist school model, developing a project to ensure facilities for educational institutions , directing and guiding educational institutions to implement 2-session teaching/day, ... In the immediate future, the education sector and localities need to focus on preparing sufficient conditions for the 2025-2026 school year. Special care, ensuring the rights of students, organizing a solemn and meaningful opening ceremony.   Comrade Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee believes in the spirit of solidarity with persistent effort and creativity of the management staff, teachers, students The entire industry, the city's education and training sector will continue to reap outstanding achievements in the 2025-2026 school year and the following years.
