Hai Phong Department of Education and Training organized the first advanced typical conference, period 2025-2030

On the afternoon of September 18, at the Eastern Cultural Center (Le Thanh Nghi Ward), the Department of Education and Training (DET) of Hai Phong organized the first advanced typical conference, period 2025-2030, to summarize and evaluate the patriotic emulation movement in the whole industry, commend collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements, and at the same time launch emulation for the new period.

Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches and localities; representatives of educational institutions and a large number of outstanding cadres and teachers in the city.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung acknowledged and highly appreciated the outstanding achievements that the Hai Phong Department of Education and Training has achieved in the period of 2020-2025. Patriotic emulation movements have been widely deployed, associated with the political tasks of each unit, contributing to improving the quality of comprehensive education. Currently, the whole city has over 76% of schools meeting national standards, the teaching staff is standardized, constantly innovating and creating.

Hai Phong students have continuously achieved high results in national and international competitions for excellent students with many Gold, Silver and Bronze medals at regional and world Olympic Games. Hundreds of groups and individuals have been commended by the Party, State, Government, Ministry of Education and Training and the City People's Committee, thousands of cadres and teachers have been recognized with emulation titles at all levels.

The industry also actively responded to major emulation movements of the Government and the Ministry of Education and Training such as: "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas", "For the poor - No one is left behind", "Promoting administrative reform", "National digital transformation"... Many effective models and methods have been spread, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere throughout the industry.

Entering the 2025-2030 period, the Hai Phong Department of Education and Training has set specific competition goals, including striving for 90% of schools at all levels to meet national standards; 100% of educational institutions to have at least one smart classroom; 100% of communes and wards to have multi-purpose buildings serving teaching at all levels; improving the quality of general education and preschool programs; strengthening moral education, life skills, lifelong learning; promoting the discovery and nurturing of excellent students at the provincial, national, and international levels...

Comrade Nguyen Minh Hung awarded certificates of merit from the Prime Minister to outstanding individuals.

Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung requested the Department of Education and Training to continue to closely follow Resolution 71-NQ/TW dated August 22, 2025 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development. Emulation movements need to be closely linked to the core tasks of the industry, avoiding formalities, focusing on discovering - fostering - replicating typical advanced examples, especially teachers who directly teach and students who overcome difficulties to study well.

The movement “Teach well – Learn well” continues to be the focus, in which innovation in teaching methods towards developing learners’ qualities and abilities; focusing on moral education, revolutionary ideals, life skills; building happy and safe schools; developing a team of teachers who are solid in expertise, bright in ethics, and sufficient in number. The city will study policies on remuneration, honoring and attracting good human resources to the education sector.

Along with that, the education and training sector promotes comprehensive digital transformation, urgently builds digital education records data, develops a digital science warehouse system, and implements transparent, autonomous and effective school governance.

At the conference, authorized by the President and the Prime Minister, comrade Nguyen Minh Hung presented noble awards to outstanding collectives and individuals of the industry: the Third Class Labor Medal was awarded to Meritorious Teacher Trinh Ngoc Tung, Principal of Hong Quang High School; the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit was awarded to the Department of Education and Training of Hai Phong and 11 outstanding cadres and teachers; the Government's Emulation Flag was awarded to the schools: Thanh Ha High School, Thanh Mien 2 High School, Ninh Giang High School and the National Emulation Fighter title to teacher Le Huy Chien and teacher Nguyen Thu Quyen, Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted.

On this occasion, the Department of Education and Training of Hai Phong honored 14 collectives and 25 typical advanced individuals in the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2020-2025.
