On the afternoon of November 6, Comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh, Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister visited and worked at Kien An High School. Accompanying him were Comrade Nguyen Kim Son, Party Central Committee member, Minister of Education and Training; and representatives of the Government Office.

Welcoming and working with the delegation were: Mr. Le Tien Chau, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee, and Head of the Hai Phong City National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Le Ngoc Chau, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the Hai Phong City People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Minh Hung, Member of the City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong City People's Committee; heads of relevant departments, agencies, and units; leaders of Phu Lien ward; representatives of the City Party Committee and the City People's Committee; and staff and teachers of the school, as well as former teachers of the school.

Kien An High School, now Kien An High School, was established in 1959. It was the first high school in Hai Phong to be completely newly built during the socialist construction period in North Vietnam.

Generations of students from the school have continuously grown and matured, with many holding leadership positions at various levels, becoming outstanding scientists , educators, and successful entrepreneurs, contributing to the development of the city and the country.

To date, after 66 years of construction and development, the school has nearly 100 staff and teachers and over 1,700 students, with modern and well-equipped facilities that have received significant investment from the city, meeting the requirements of teaching and learning according to the 2018 general education program.

With its outstanding achievements, Kien An High School has been honored with many prestigious awards: the Second-Class Labor Medal, the Third-Class Labor Medal, a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister, and many other prestigious awards.

In the coming period, the school will continue to innovate its thinking and actions, strengthen comprehensive education, form the values ​​of the people of Hai Phong in a socialist society, and simultaneously undergo comprehensive digital transformation, contributing together with other schools to building Hai Phong into a leading education and training center in the country.

Extending his warmest congratulations to former teachers and current teachers of the school on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20th, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh expressed his delight at the outstanding achievements that Hai Phong city in general and Kien An High School in particular have attained in recent years. He highly appreciated the efforts, sense of responsibility, and creativity of the staff, teachers, and employees of Kien An High School in teaching and learning, contributing to improving the quality of education in Hai Phong city.

The comrade emphasized that in recent years, the education sector of Hai Phong city has achieved many high achievements in training and nurturing outstanding students at the national and international levels, including the positive contributions of teachers and students of Kien An High School with its nearly 70-year tradition of development. Resolution No. 71 of the 13th Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development, with many outstanding mechanisms and policies for education as well as the teaching staff and students nationwide, is concrete evidence that the Party and State always care about and consider education as a top national priority.

The education sector needs to continue innovating teaching methods, focusing on students, emphasizing the comprehensive development of students' qualities and abilities; strengthening moral education, soft skills, and foreign language proficiency to meet the requirements of international integration.

The Deputy Prime Minister of the Government requested that Hai Phong city continue to pay attention to and prioritize investment in education, contributing to the training of high-quality human resources to meet the development requirements of the city in the current era of national development.

The comrade expressed his wish for Hai Phong city to strive for 100% of school-aged children to attend school, for English to become a second language, contributing to building a confident, dynamic, and integrated generation of young Vietnamese people. Kien An High School should continue to innovate and improve the quality of education, using student performance as a measure of the school's effectiveness.

To support the school's teaching and learning activities, Comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh – Member of the Politburo, Standing Deputy Prime Minister of the Government – ​​presented Kien An High School with a smart classroom equipped with many modern devices to support interactive teaching and learning, integrating smart technology to serve teaching and learning, contributing to improving the quality of education and innovating learning methods.

Comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh – Member of the Political Bureau, Standing Deputy Prime Minister of the Government, along with leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training, city leaders, leaders of Phu Lien ward and Kien An High School, visited the school's traditional exhibition room.

On this occasion, the Deputy Prime Minister and other delegates also visited the traditional exhibition room of Kien An High School, which preserves valuable images and documents about the school's formation, construction, and development over the past 66 years – a testament to the tradition of studiousness, the will to excel, and the spirit of solidarity of generations of teachers and students of the school.

Also at the meeting, on the occasion of celebrating Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20th, the Deputy Prime Minister presented a bouquet of flowers and gifts to congratulate the school's staff and teachers.
