Comrade Uong Minh Long, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, received 30 tablets from the Project.
This activity is part of a series of initiatives implemented by Save the Children Vietnam at the beginning of the school year, which included the donation of 150 tablets to five junior high schools: Tien Lang, Tien Minh, Chan Hung, Dong Tay Hung, and Vinh Quang. Through these devices, the project contributes to creating favorable conditions for students to access and effectively utilize digital learning materials; encourages self-learning, creativity, and information searching; and contributes to the development of digital skills and collaborative learning skills for students.
Ms. Hoang Thi Minh Hang, Program Manager, Save the Children: Save the Children Vietnam has collaborated with the Hai Phong Department of Education and Training to implement projects in the city for over 15 years. We always aim to promote breakthroughs to achieve lasting positive change for children. Specifically, with the project currently being implemented in 5 secondary schools, we are not only focusing on raising awareness and skills to respond to climate change among students, but also creating a modern learning environment through the provision of technological equipment. Through this, students are encouraged to proactively explore, innovate, and become green citizens who are responsible to the community. We believe that today's efforts will lay the foundation for a generation of Hai Phong children who are dynamic, confident, and well-adapted to the challenges of climate change.
