(BLC) - On July 17, Than Uyen District Party Committee held a mid-term review of the implementation of the Resolution of the 18th District Party Congress, term 2020-2025. Since the congress, the Than Uyen District Party Committee has continued to uphold the spirit of solidarity and unity, strengthen the leadership of Party committees and authorities at all levels, create consensus among the people, strive to overcome difficulties, successfully carry out political tasks, and achieve and exceed many targets set out in the resolution.

To concretize the resolution, the District Party Committee has issued 3 action programs, 2 thematic resolutions, and 11 implementation plans that are close to reality. After half a term, 2/9 specific target groups and 21/31 component target groups have met and exceeded the resolution.
In particular, budget revenue, total food output, the rate of grassroots Party organizations completing their tasks well or better... and a number of other indicators achieved high results. The estimated total food output reached more than 33 thousand tons, reaching 101.2% of the resolution target; industrial value reached nearly 873 billion VND, reaching 105.5% of the plan; local budget revenue reached more than 64 billion VND. New rural construction achieved an average of 17.54 criteria/commune. Trade and tourism activities have improved. Infrastructure after investment has been effective, the quality of education and training, human resource development has been improved, health care for people, social security has been concerned, resolved promptly; national defense and security have been ensured.
The district Party Committee continues to proactively take solutions to build a clean and strong political system, enhancing the fighting strength of the entire Party Committee. Focusing on the work of organizing and building the Party, since the beginning of the term, 280 Party members have been admitted, achieving 70% of the Congress Resolution. Every year, over 93% of grassroots Party organizations and 95% of Party members complete their tasks well or better, the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations have been gradually improved. Key programs and breakthrough tasks have been effective.
In the remaining half of the term, the Than Uyen District Party Committee focused on leading the effective implementation of the Resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels. Leading the development of agriculture in a concentrated, efficient and sustainable commodity direction; promoting industrial cluster projects, increasing investment attraction of resources. Implementing well the work of budget collection and expenditure, practicing thrift and combating waste; improving the quality of education and primary health care for the people; ensuring national defense and security...
At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and proposing solutions such as: improving the quality of political and ideological education and ethics in the entire Party; improving the capacity and fighting strength of Party members, grassroots Party organizations and solutions to successfully carry out local political tasks in the second half of the term...
Speaking at the conference, Comrade Lo Van Huong - Provincial Party Committee member, District Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the District People's Council highly appreciated the results that the Party Committee led the entire political system to achieve in the first half of the term. He also emphasized that this is the foundation for the Than Uyen District Party Committee to successfully implement the resolution targets in the coming time.
