On July 11, Associate Professor, Dr. Tang Chi Thuong - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health - said that the unit has urgently implemented a series of activities when assigned the task of taking care of the health of over 14 million people.

One of the activities to be implemented is to quickly consolidate and widely introduce channels for receiving feedback from people in the health sector. These are priority issues that need to be addressed immediately, especially for people living in Binh Duong province and the former Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.

The Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health shared that the hotline numbers for people's complaints are being strengthened.

Specifically, the hotline of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health is 096.777.1010. This is the channel to directly receive people's feedback related to the quality of medical examination and treatment services, the service attitude of medical staff, as well as problems arising at medical facilities in the city.

All feedback information will be recorded, compiled, verified and forwarded to the competent authority for timely handling by the Department of Health, contributing to protecting the legitimate rights of people when accessing and using health care services in the area.

Hotline against "faking illnesses, extorting money" of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health 0989.401.155. This is a specialized channel to receive feedback on negative behaviors related to "faking illnesses", "extorting money", providing unprofessional advice to take advantage of patients, or behaviors that violate professional ethics.

All feedback will be received confidentially, verified objectively and strictly handled according to regulations. The handling results will be made public, ensuring transparency and creating conditions for people to monitor. This hotline is managed by officers from the Department of Health's inspection and legal department.

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health's online public service support hotline 1900.638.563 . This is the contact phone number to support people in looking up, guiding and answering administrative procedures in the health sector, such as: granting practice licenses, registering private medical facilities, online public service records...

Portal 1022 of Ho Chi Minh City. This is a channel to receive feedback and recommendations from people, businesses and organizations in the city.

People can send feedback related to the health sector via the website https://cong1022.tphcm.gov.vn or use the mobile application "1022 TP.HCM" to be received and processed according to the correct procedure.

In addition, the "Online Health" application is being upgraded by the Department of Health to suit the 2-level government model when there are no longer medical offices in districts (old) to coordinate handling when receiving feedback from people.

People's participation in the process of reflecting and responding to information after reflecting not only contributes to protecting their legitimate rights, but also helps build a public, transparent health system, taking people's health as the center of all activities of the health sector.
Assoc.Prof.Dr.Tang Chi Thuong

In addition, the Department of Health has directed the Ho Chi Minh City Emergency Center to upgrade the 115 call center to meet the need for emergency support for people in the former Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau provinces.

Associate Professor, Dr. Tang Chi Thuong encourages people to use the above channels to receive feedback from people in the medical field to promptly reflect and contribute ideas on issues related to medical examination and treatment activities and medical services in the city.

Each feedback with complete and accurate information will help the management agency promptly receive and handle violations (if any), contributing to improving the quality of service at medical facilities.

In the near future, the Department of Health will build a Dashboard to synthesize and classify people's feedback by connecting hotline numbers and online medical apps to promptly record, analyze, plan inspections, monitor and promptly resolve people's legitimate feedback.
