STO - On the morning of August 11, at Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee, the Central Organizing Committee's Survey Delegation led by comrade Phan Thang An - Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee had a working session with Soc Trang province on the results of implementing the Party Charter. Accompanying the delegation was comrade Hoang Trong Hung - Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Committee. Receiving and working with the survey delegation were comrades: Lam Van Man - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Soc Trang province; Ho Thi Cam Dao - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; secretaries of district party committees, Party Committees of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc and leaders of a number of relevant departments and branches.

In a summary report at the working session, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee Vo Chi Cong said that as of May 30, 2023, the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee had 15 affiliated Party Committees, 642 Party organizations, 37 Party Committees, 2,319 Party cells directly under the grassroots Party Committees with a total of 47,973 Party members. From 2011 to present, the organization of dissemination of the Party Charter, regulations and instructions of the Central Committee on the implementation of the Party Charter has been seriously implemented by Party Committees at all levels, ensuring requirements on content and time, promptly serving the Party building work of the Provincial Party Committee. The Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and affiliated Party Committees have promptly specified the contents related to the Party Charter, regulations and instructions on the implementation of the Party Charter to lead and direct the implementation in accordance with the actual situation in localities, agencies and units.
Based on the regulations and instructions on the implementation of the Party Charter of the Central Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, and the affiliated Party Committees have performed their functions, tasks, and powers according to regulations, and strengthened the inspection and supervision of the implementation of the Party Charter. From 2011 to May 30, 2023, the entire Provincial Party Committee admitted 25,868 new Party members. Compared to 2010, the number of Party members increased by 20,770 comrades; Party Committees and affiliated Party organizations have paid attention to developing plans to conduct self-criticism and criticism in the spirit of the Resolutions and Conclusions of the 4th Central Committee, terms XI, XII, XIII, for Party organizations, Party members, and collectives and individual leaders and managers in accordance with the actual situation of localities, agencies, and units. At the same time, Party committees at all levels have strengthened the implementation of inspection and supervision tasks according to Article 30 of the Party Charter, thereby inspecting 8,451 Party organizations, 6,152 Party members, and supervising 4,477 organizations and 4,727 Party members...
In addition, Party committees at all levels have ensured the Party's leadership over the State, the Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations; affirmed the Party's absolute and direct leadership in all aspects over the army and police, and promoted the core role of the armed forces in firmly protecting the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam, maintaining political security and social order and safety.

At the meeting, delegates discussed and clarified a number of contents: the implementation of regulations on inspection and supervision work of the Party; the management of Party members leaving their residential areas to work far away; the management of Party member records; the admission of Party members among ethnic minorities; the implementation of the Party Charter in a number of localities and units in the province...
Speaking at the meeting, comrade Phan Thang An highly appreciated the results of implementing the Party Charter in Soc Trang province in the past time. At the same time, he requested that in the coming time, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, and Party committees at all levels will continue to deploy, organize and implement seriously, effectively, and qualitatively the implementation of the Party Charter. In addition, the Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee also acknowledged the opinions and proposals of the delegates on the implementation of the Party Charter in order to study, adjust, and supplement it in accordance with the current situation.
