On May 26, through the hotline number, SGGP Newspaper received a report from the Soc Trang Provincial Center for Disease Control (CDC Soc Trang ) about this unit returning 2 packages containing 1,000 doses of Speeda rabies vaccine due to failure to ensure regulations on storage and transportation.

According to the report, on May 25, CDC Soc Trang received 2 packages of 1,000 doses of Speeda rabies vaccine from Bien Loan Pharmaceutical Company Limited.
The first package contained 100 doses of Speeda rabies vaccine, without a temperature monitoring device during transportation. The second package contained 900 doses of Speeda rabies vaccine, with a temperature monitoring device reading of +15 degrees Celsius (exceeding the vaccine storage threshold of 2 to 8 degrees Celsius).
In particular, both of the above packages are not transported by specialized vehicles.

The entire process of receiving vaccines is recorded by CDC Soc Trang to serve as a basis for handling according to regulations.
For the above reason, CDC Soc Trang has notified Bien Loan Pharmaceutical Company Limited to "return the above 2 packages, due to not complying with current regulations on vaccine storage and transportation".
Speaking to SGGP reporters, Mr. Tran Van Dung, Deputy Director of the Department of Health of Soc Trang province, said: The Department has been reported by the provincial CDC about the above incident. Accordingly, it is clear that the conditions for storing and transporting vaccines were not guaranteed. Therefore, for the health safety of people during vaccination, the provincial CDC has sent an official dispatch requesting Bien Loan Pharmaceutical Company Limited to receive back the above 2 packages.
