Exciting Futsal Tournament for Dong Thap Lottery Cup 2025

DTO - On May 23, at Dong Thap University Gymnasium, the opening ceremony and matches of the 2025 Dong Thap Lottery Cup Futsal Tournament took place, attracting a large number of fans to cheer.

Match between 2 clubs: Viet My Fertilizer (pink shirt) and 520 Trong Tri

The tournament is organized by Dong Thap Football Federation in coordination with Dong Thap University, bringing together 9 futsal clubs from districts and cities in the province to compete. In the tournament, the clubs are divided into 2 groups to compete in a round-robin, selecting 4 teams ranked First and Second to enter the semi-finals to compete for the final rankings. The Organizing Committee will award collective and individual prizes including: Champion, Second Place, Third Place, Style, Referee Team that completed the task well, Player with the most goals, Best Goalkeeper.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Ngo Be - Chairman of Dong Thap Football Federation, Head of the Organizing Committee emphasized that the tournament is a useful playground for athletes to practice, improve their professional skills, and promote the futsal movement to develop strongly in the locality. At the same time, he hoped that the clubs would compete with high determination and noble sportsmanship to promote the brand of the tournament and serve the audience; the supervisors and referees would seriously conduct the matches fairly and in accordance with the law, contributing to the success of the tournament. The Chairman of Dong Thap Football Federation thanked the sponsors who accompanied the Organizing Committee to create a healthy and useful playground for indoor football athletes in the province.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the clubs entered the first round of group stage matches with exciting and attractive developments, giving the audience a feast of eye-catching football. After the first day of competition, the tournament will be suspended for 2 days, May 24 and 25 (due to the State Funeral of FormerPresident of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Tran Duc Luong), then return to competition from May 26 - 29 and close.
