Exciting sports events to celebrate National Day on September 2nd.

Over two days (August 27th and 28th), the Provincial Party Committee Office organized a sports competition to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2nd, 1945 - September 2nd, 2025).

Nearly 50 athletes , including civil servants, officials, and employees from the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Provincial Party Committees, the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Party Committees of the Provincial Party Agencies, and the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, participated in the competition. The athletes competed in two events: chess and a men's and women's sack race relay.

The chess competition, with the participation of 16 athletes, took place in Zone 1, Minh Hai Guesthouse on the afternoon of August 27th.

On the afternoon of August 27th, 16 athletes competed in the chess event, with individual knockout competition. On the afternoon of August 28th, the men's and women's sack race relay took place with great excitement. According to the competition rules, each participating unit could register a maximum of two teams (each team consisting of one man and one woman). The men's and women's relay race covered a distance of 20 meters each, with a knockout format.

The mixed doubles sack race relay teams entered the competition with great enthusiasm and excitement. Many pairs of athletes coordinated smoothly and effectively.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded 1st prize in chess (including a trophy and 1,500,000 VND in prize money); 2nd prize (including a trophy and 1,000,000 VND in prize money); and 2 3rd prizes (tied) (including a trophy and 500,000 VND in prize money). The sack race relay (men and women) awarded 1st prize (trophy and 2,000,000 VND in prize money); 2nd prize (trophy and 1,500,000 VND in prize money); and 2 3rd prizes (tied) (trophy and 1,000,000 VND in prize money).

The organizing committee awarded first, second, and third prizes to the athletes who achieved high results in the Chinese chess competition.

The Organizing Committee presented awards to the pairs of athletes who achieved high results in the men's and women's sack race relay.
